Salvia longispicata x farinacea 'Indigo Spires'

Discovered growing at Huntington Botanical Gardens in California in the 1970s. Probably a hybrid between two species, S. farinacea and S. longispicata, both native to Mexico. Grows into a large plant that blooms non-stop throughout the growing season. Keep trimmed back to preserve shape.
